Restoring the water damage on the ceiling of the Music room at the Wistariahurst museum

VKrestoration recently finished restoring the ceiling of the music room at the Wistariahurst museum in Holyoke, Mass.

The ceiling was damaged in numerous locations due to the leaking roof. The water damage caused the deterioration of the original stucco and decorative plaster.

The Wistariahurst Museum is a work of architecture that has withstood time for over a century. Every corner of that house displays the elegant taste of its original owners, the Skinner Family, for art and architecture. It would have been an eternal shame for our generation if we let it fall into pieces because of a leaking roof. Thankfully, this piece of history has been saved.
